Yes, my daughter

Go, I have set you free.

You may not realize it,

But I love your freedom 

more than anything else.

Oh, my dear, you don’t even know 

That your open wings 

are my most cherished dream. 

Your open wings are my only goal. 

Your open wings are my desire.

Go, my daughter, spread your wings 

And hold your string firmly 

In your strong and able hands. 

Dreams of you reaching a zenith

kept me awake till now,

And today, I do not want to sleep. 

The only wish I have is to 

Witness your dreams come true.

And this wish of mine motivates 

me to care about you even more.

I want to help you genuinely

To make your dreams a reality.

Yes, my daughter, I want to protect 

You from all the probable difficulties by 

being your shadow every moment.

So that you can soar high without any difficulty.  

And achieve success in your path.  

Your ambition is my sole resolve, my dear daughter.

Just don’t forget your ground while flying.

Don’t let any shabby cloud wet your wings,

Don’t let the storm break your wings,

Don’t let the wind affect your momentum.

Never get distracted by tiny deviations.

While flying up, make sure to do this much, 

My dear daughter, when your eyes fall on me, 

Give me a little smile,

You may not realise that the smile 

On your lips is the essence of my life.

Your laughter is my ray of hope, and

Your giggle warms my heart involuntarily..

Do you know–No, how do you know

That you are the beginning of my day, 

You are the morning of my night.

Keep flying high, my daughter.

Independent, unconquerable, true, dynamic

You are worthy of handling your reins.

I don’t trust the world.
