Navigating Through Moral Challenges
Heading to moral corruption
Just a couple of days ago, I came across a disgusting episode of a show namely, ‘India Latent Show’ of a famous(notorious) YouTuber Samay Raina where another famous(equally infamous) Ranveer Allahabadia spoke something utterly disgusting and unacceptable for all of us concerned.
One can’t brush off their statements as their mistake or their gibberish.
What they said in the said episode was scripted but questions arise how they gathered courage to even think of the same.
It was so bad when all the people on the show were laughing at Ranveer Allahbadia’s no-sense utterance.
There are instances of extreme vulgar jokes in and around all of us after the rise of social media platforms and these are solely for the purpose of getting more attention and in turn getting more followers.
We have clips of other shows where anchors/hosts are asking awkward questions to the participants/contestants, and the audience are made to laugh at their crassness.
We have clips of many so-called influencers who are mocking people with disabilities, ridiculing young women striving to secure decent jobs, and making fun of innocent children just a few days old. Their behavior is truly disgusting, yet these scammer influencers continue to gain millions of followers.
Additionally, viewers who find their ridiculous jokes amusing should reflect on their role, as they unknowingly participate in the narrative created by so-called influencers who aim not only at a small audience but also target all their followers watching their channels.
Be careful, we are adopting new tactics to present more and more vulgarity in the name of entertainment, thereby provoking the mentality of an already depressed society.
We have media heavyweights, and petty youtubers as well, we have a number of teens, and women who make contents that are alarmingly unfit for a healthy social structure.

How does the flow of money decide the unethical script?
Earlier, there were only a few channels to watch on television, and most people either did not have a DTH connection or did not have time to watch them. More importantly, our print media used to be too honest to be true in the modern context. To top it off, the show’s timing was always after 10 pm so that kids and teens could be away from them.
At that time we respected family values, did not even consider breaking the rules of society, and thought twice before indulging in any immoral act. But we willingly adopted the lessons of moral stories, we were and even today we are the ones who find the rules of society meaningless.
On the contrary, we have dozens of channels reaching us through DTH, and thousands of channels within our reach through the internet, channels where there is a tough competition to get more and more followers to attract attention, and make quick money.
Money is important in today’s world, where people face numerous challenges. Young people often stray from their responsibilities, and when they start earning a decent income, they become target customers for various online services. Unfortunately, they tend to prioritize unnecessary entertainment, willingly spending extra money on things that don’t contribute to their well-being.
Comedy shows are widely regarded as a joyful remedy for the blues, offering a light-hearted escape that lifts the spirit without aiming at those who face real struggles in their everyday lives.
I don’t know where we failed to raise the upcoming generation as generous, kind, and just. But, yeah we failed miserably while trying to maintain the pace of technological advancements.
Thanks to this we now have a bunch of people who think that it’s really cool to mock the people who are suffering, or make obscene jokes on societal norms, or target the masses with their filthy dialogues.
I vehemently agree that there is an unclear concept of goody-goody people in this world. So about the bad ones. Those who claim to be good are not good enough, and those who claim to be bad are not that bad, everyone has the grey side of personality.
So, a bad influence can expose the side that should be under wrap in any condition.
Human history shows we are often drawn to evil more easily than to goodness.
Bad influences drain our positive energy, make us irresponsible towards our own folks, or make us comfortable at their plights.
Detrimental influences can sap our vitality, leaving us feeling drained and unmotivated. This erosion of our positive energy may cause us to neglect our responsibilities toward those we care about and foster a troubling sense of complacency in the face of their challenges and suffering.
All the noise is in vain.
Technology-wise we are on the right path, we are progressing unexpectedly exponentially, but what about the values we have to carry on our shoulders to maintain the sanity of humanity?
The new generation of young individuals is increasingly opting for quicker, more immediate paths to success, often seeking shortcuts that promise rapid achievements.
As time passes, they often lose sight of the importance of sensitivity, humility, and positivity, prioritizing their ambition for success above all else.
They ignore the significant negative impact their incoherent and irrelevant words can have on society when millions of followers follow them.
Consequences of unethical social media posts
Whenever a social media influencer is caught or criticized by a section of people for their crassness, they start posting counter posts to defend themselves, or they start hideous apologies for their misleading posts, sometimes they even use their political connections to douse the issue, and sometimes they even run away from the country to escape the outrage.
Conclusion
While the internet has the potential to enhance our moral awareness and promote ethical behavior, it also presents challenges that can undermine moral values. The overall impact largely depends on how individuals choose to navigate the online landscape and the social frameworks that guide their interactions.
In today’s fast-paced world, where divisions can often overshadow common ground, empathy emerges as a crucial tool for addressing moral challenges.
Being morally correct refers to acting in ways that align with ethical principles and values. It involves making choices that promote fairness, justice, respect, and the well-being of others. This concept can be subjective, as different cultures and individuals may have varying beliefs about what is considered morally right or wrong. Ultimately, striving for moral correctness often involves reflecting on one’s actions, understanding their impact on others, and seeking to contribute positively to society.
